My Big Boy

I intended to have some 9 month pictures taken of Alex, but didn't get to it.  So, these are his 10 month pictures, that his Grandpa Anderson took this weekend.

Walking

I am surprised, proud and somewhat sad to report:

Alex took his first steps today!

He took two steps sideways (weird) and then took 3 steps forward before he fell over.  I tried two other times to get it on video, and instead he fell down and started crawling.  Of course!

Rapid Run Revue

Every year Grant does really fun music with his kids for the school talent show.  This year was no exception.  Here are some pictures showing all the fun:
Sorry it's blurry!  It's Grant (as Scooby) running into the ghost at the end of the song.

Grant as the lion for "The Lion Sleeps Tonight"
Buster totally passed out for the second half of the show!
Daddy (as Indiana Jones) and Buster after the show
"Bohemian Rhapsody"
The flowers Grant got me to thank me for putting all of his costumes together.
The lion.  Ha!

The Scooby outfit I made.  It was a brown dog costume, and I added the black spots and the collar.  I also had to take the long floppy ears and make them stand up and be pointed.  I think it turned out well, if I do say so myself!

Buster REALLY loves the dishwasher.  Can you tell???
If he hears me open it, he will crawl in from the other room to "help."
Maybe my new favorite picture of Buster

Buster Brown

Well Buster is certainly moving and grooving!  It seems like he learns something new every single day.  Some of his recent accomplishments:

*Soooo big!  (With arms up over his head)
*Clapping (which he does for himself after soo big)
*Doing the sign for "more" when he wants more cheerios
*Dancing, which consists of bending his knees and shaking his head back and forth a la Stevie Wonder.  He loves to dance to the theme song of Gilmore Girls, the Spice Girls and Do Your Ears Hang Low.
*Walking holding on to furniture
*Standing on his own
*Trying to walk on his own
*Crawling EVERYWHERE
*Saying "Dada"
*Understanding "No-no" (but still mostly ignoring us...or smiling before continuing)
*Understanding "I'm gonna get you!" and he crawls as fast as he can, laughing hysterically as Daddy, Mommy, Grandpa, etc. crawl after him
*I'm sure many more things that I can't think of at this moment.  Pictures to come soon!
