Getting ready

Bridal Brunch

I hosted a bridal brunch at my house the morning of the wedding.  It was a lot of fun!  All of us girls just got to hang out, eat, drink (mimosas!), and of course, talk :)

The little girls, Ava and Alexis, got bored, so we all played Pictionary with them.

Rehearsal Dinner

For the rehearsal dinner, we all took a dinner cruise on the Ohio River.  The weather was perfect!  High 70s and sunny.  We had a fabulous time!  The dinner was "Cincinnati Cuisine" with chili and spaghetti to make 3-ways and Barbeque.  As we pulled into the dock we got an awesome view of the Red's game that was going on across the river.

Rehearsal

I had the pleasure of being the Matron of Honor for one of my best friends, Kelly.    Here are pictures from the actual wedding rehearsal.

Visit to Kent

Over Spring Break we traveled up to Cleveland.  While we were there, we went to Kent to see Nanny, Aunt FayAnn and Uncle Kim.

Alex's First Shiner

Well, it's been bound to happen for a long time.  Alex is ALL boy.  He already has two skinned knees, a scrape all the way up his shin, and a few other bumps and bruises.  He usually catches himself when he falls.  Well, last night he DID catch himself with his hands, and then his face.  He cried so hard, had dirt in his mouth, on his nose, eye, etc.  Poor thing!  He fell on cement, so in addition to the bruise and slight swelling, he's all scraped up.   Poor boy!
