My weirdness

So I am a blog-lurker.  It's true.  I saw the weirdness posts floating through blog-land, starting with Rebecca, then Jen, Karen, Adam and finally Sarah and Danny tagged me to write about my weirdness on their blog.  (Which I did.)  But now that I have my own, I thought I'd post my weirdness here as well.

1.  Apparently hating eating noises is genetic.  I can NOT stand hearing someone else eat.  Other noises also bother me, like when someone taps their pencil repeatedly.

2.  I usually (not now that I'm pregnant) have a Coke for breakfast everyday.  I don't like coffee or tea, and I need caffeine to wake up.  Not to mention my grandma used to let me have one for breakfast when I would spend the night, so it's a good childhood memory.  :)

3.  I absolutely HATE cold showers.  If the water turns cold while I'm in the shower I get an instant bad mood--that persists the rest of the day.  I can't help it.  It's like a switch turns off or something.  (Somewhat convenient, as Grant always lets me have the first shower to ward off a possible bad mood!)

4.  I tend to choreograph in the car....while I drive.  I probably look totally psychotic to people that drive next to me.  I don't write it down (unless I'm at a red light), but I move my arms around a lot.

5.  I love the M&M dudes.  Not so much the actual candy, but I think the guys are hilarious!  I crack up at the commercials, magazine ads, etc.  My office at home is kinda like M&M headquarters.  My students and family have jumped on board and I have a TON of stuff (a clock, puzzle, blanket, pants, shirts, lunch box, etc....)  I know--I'm such a nerd.

6.  I am anal retentive about being organized-but only for some things.  I am never without my planner.  I love office supplies, file folders, etc.  But yet I appear disorganized to other people.  My clothes tend to be all over the bedroom, my desk is a pile of papers, but I can ALWAYS find everything I need.  I guess I am an organized mess?!?!

7. My parents are actually some of my closest friends.  I talk to them almost everyday, and we hang out on a regular basis (we have a running euchre tournament going--Dad and I usually beat Mom and Grant-ha!).  They're just a whole lot of fun and I can truly be myself around them.  I guess most of the world would find this really weird-but for me it's just normal.

So....Does that make me weird?  I'm going to tag Grant to write about his 7 weird things...and anyone else who might happen to read this that hasn't yet written about their weirdness :)
