Well, we are slowly adjusting to life at home with a newborn. Alex is doing awesome! He is a good sleeper and good eater. When we took him to his one week appointment with the pediatrician, he had already passed his birthweight (6, 14) and weighed 7 pounds even. We had to take him back to the pediatrician yesterday, (for a goopy eye and a funky belly button-both of which have cleared up considerably in just 24 hours) and he weighed 7 pounds 10 ounces! He gained 10 ounces in 6 days. I have a feeling he's going to follow in his cousins footsteps and be a chunker like the Steel boys. :)
Tomorrow Alex is going to go to school to visit Daddy and meet all of the students. It's the last day before summer, and the kids waited patiently all year to meet the little guy. It should be fun!

I can see this picture and what a face! He really is so perfect. He has such perfect little features. He is going to be handsome! And I agree with Jen- I feel like I can reach through the computer and feel his soft skin and smell that baby smell.
