Alex: Mom--look at those clouds! They beautiful!"
Me: They are beautiful!
A: I want to touch them.
M: Well, they're too high to touch.
A: How bout I get a ladder? Then I touch them?
M: That's a good idea! But they're sooo high, even a ladder won't work.
A: How bout I fly up there? Then I touch them and I see Jesus!
M: That would work! That sounds good!
A: Mommy--I heal Jesus?
M: You hear him? (Internally thinking WHAT?!?)
A: No, Mommy. Heal. I give Jesus banb-bades? (Bandaids)
M: You want to heal Jesus and give him bandaids??
A: Yea! Please Mommy?? I heal Jesus? Please??
M: Why does Jesus need bandaids?
A: He have boo-boos.
M: He does?? Where?
A: ALL over his body.
M: He does? How do you know this?
A: He show me.
M: He showed you.
A: Yea! Please Mommy?? I heal him?? Please?
M: When did Jesus show you?
A: He come my room and show me.
M: When did he come to your room?
A: When I pray, Jesus come to my room.
M: What do you do when Jesus comes to your room?
A: We dance and sing. *Changes subject*
Hmmmmm.....Clearly they don't cover the fact that Jesus has wounds in the two year old Sunday School class. So I can only conclude that yes, Jesus visits my son's room and dances and sings with him. On a regular basis. Thank you, Jesus, for loving my boy and being real to him! When my mom was asking Alex about this conversation, Alex also told her that Jesus' daddy also comes to his room. She asked him who that was, and he said "God!" :)
