Feed the Forgotten

I just fed a STARVING Ugandan person for 178 days (yes, one hundred and seventy eight DAYS) with a $25 gift. That's just 14 cents a day.

There is a HUGE problem in Uganda right now with starvation. Children and adults are literally starving to death. It just sickens me and saddens me so much. I feel like we always hear about problems like disease and hunger, and the problem always seems way too big to tackle. I love the organization Children's HopeChest, because it gives tangible ways for EVERYONE to help. (By the way, the book "The Hole in our Gospel" addresses MANY of these issues and is a MUST READ for modern day Christians in my opinion...)

Feed The Forgotten
For $0.14, you can feed someone in Uganda a meal of posho and beans. (posho is cornmeal, which is filling and beans are protein). There is an urgent need there. People--adults and children, are starving to death EVERY DAY. Take it in for a moment. . .
