Potty!!!

Buster Brown went pee-pee on the potty tonight for the first time! He sat on his car toliet seat before tubby. We talked about letting his pee-pees out, and then he did! It (of course) went all over the floor and my leg. Fabulous. But, I was so excited, I didn't care. He said "Ewwww" we "adjusted" things, and he finished going! So exciting for this Mama :) He was so proud of himself. We called both sets of grandparents to brag on him and he got to eat M&Ms in the tubby as a special reward.

I'm anticipating potty-training being a long road, but I'm glad he's taken a big step. I'm also not going to push too hard in the next few weeks, especially since we have a 14 hour car trip to New Hampshire coming up. I have no desire to visit every rest stop, McDonald's, and side of the road between here and there :) We'll definitely stick with diapers until we're home from that trip!
