Update on the Boys :)

Well, it's been awhile since I've posted! Life with 2 boys (ok, 3 with Grant!) is a little crazy! Our beautiful boys are learning and growing and changing everyday. Here's what they've been up to:

Alex
Our Buster Brown has been learning new words everyday. He is talking so much and his little personality is really starting to develop. He knows almost all of the letters of the alphabet and loves to point them out wherever he sees them. He counted to 5 for the first time the other night and totally surprised us! We had no idea he could do it. He has also become a little jokester. His main joke is that he'll hold up his thumb and forefinger and say "I two!" To which we respond, "Yes! You ARE two!" Then he'll hold up his whole hand and say "I five!" And giggle so hard....The first time he did it, we didn't even know that he knew the number five. Smart boy :) His other joke that he tells is a little more embarassing. I'm waiting for the day that he tells this one in public and embarasses me! Whenever he's a little gassy, he'll let out a toot, and then say accusingly "Mama!" as if I did it! (Sometimes he'll blame Daddy or Pa, but it's usually me!) Again-where the boy comes up with this, who knows?

Alex is also learning and growing physically. He's lost so much of his "baby" look. He is long and lean and his toddler tummy is slowly disappearing. He loves to jump, run, skip, hop, march and just be active and outside. He loves to swim and thinks he can do it by himself (with water wings, of course). He actually jumped off of the diving board at our friend's pool last week and LOVED it! I'll never forget his little face as he stood on the end of the board and looked down at me. Such a huge grin with such excitement and fear mixed in there. I counted to 3, and he didn't even hesitate. Jumped right into my arms, went under water and came up smiling and laughing saying "More!"

We took Alex to his first dance class last week. He did great! He's a little young, but we figured we'd try and just see what he did. He cried when he first went in the room, because the teacher asked him to sit down (to listen to the rules). I comforted him and we went in the room and watched from the corner for a few minutes. By the end of class we were both up dancing with the class. He did a good job listening and is excited to go back and try again tomorrow night!

He had another first today. We took him to the movie theater to see Toy Stoy 3. He was awesome! All through the previews he kept asking "Woody???" Then he sat and watched the whole movie quietly. As soon as the credits started rolling at the end he said "More?!?" My boy loves him some Toy Story! :)

Noah
Noah is such a sweet baby! He has such a great disposition and temperment. He has grown so much already! At his 2 month appointment he weighed in at 12 pounds, 8 ounces. That means he gained 5 pounds in his first 2 months! He's up to the 65% for weight. He's definitely bigger than his brother was at his age.

He is so strong already. He holds his head up, pushes up on his arms, rolls over from his belly and likes to stand on our laps (just like his big brother did!). He smiles the biggest grin and likes to talk to whoever is holding him when it's nice and quiet (usually when big brother is asleep!). He loves to sit in his swing and is already a blankie boy! He has to hold onto a blankie or have a blankie against his face when he sleeps. So sweet!

All in all, life is crazy and crazy good all at the same time. I could not be happier with my life with my 3 boys!
